GutPilot Terms of Use

By using GutPilot you agree to these terms.

Account

Sign in with Apple and a GutPilot account are required to use the app. You are responsible for keeping access to your Apple account secure. You may delete your GutPilot account in Settings at any time. Account deletion does not automatically delete the separate diary stored on your device/private iCloud and does not cancel an App Store subscription; those actions use their own controls.

What GutPilot is (and isn't)

GutPilot analyzes restaurant menus and food queries and provides informational dietary guidance based on published low-FODMAP research. It is not medical advice, not a diagnostic tool, and cannot see how a specific kitchen prepares a specific dish. Verdicts are informed estimates — when the app says "ask your server," ask your server. Always follow the guidance of your healthcare provider.

Subscriptions

• GutPilot Pro: $3.99/week, $9.99/month, or $69.99/year, billed through your Apple ID.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel anytime in App Store account settings.
• Fair use: scan limits apply (photo scans and text queries per day/month) to keep the service sustainable.

Acceptable use

Don't abuse, reverse-engineer, or attempt to overload the service; don't use it for anything other than personal dietary guidance.

Liability

The app is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for outcomes resulting from food choices; you remain responsible for what you eat, and for verifying with restaurant staff where indicated.
